Our Mission
Community Chest is a 90 year-old charitable organization, dedicated to elevating people and community through the financial support of local 501c3 organizations. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness to support our neighbors in need and various service organizations. We are proud of our rich, time-honored history and look forward to creating an incredibly rewarding future.
Our “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” program provides financial assistance and support to those who have fallen on hard times in the Five Towns and the surrounding local communities. Today, Community Chest South Shore supports 22 organizations and programs and will continue to fulfill the goals needed to Help our Neighbors in Need. This initiative includes looking to the future to create transformative programs that inspire hope to those who need it most.
